From the time the spring kings come in (around May 1) we are targeting them for the majority of the season.
Initially, this is done near shore, in 30-50 feet of water, with the fish only 10-20 feet down.
As the fish move off-shore, so do we. When the kings aren’t cooperating, there are plenty of other options to keep the rods popping.
