I started sailing when I was about 8 years old and I have worked my way up to the big boats over the years.
I have made passages from Alaska south and across the Pacific to Hawaii before getting married to my wife, Jeannette, and dropping anchor (so to speak) in the San Juans.
There are many islands with wonderful trails with a variety of hiking difficulty.
We have a sea kayak on board that you can use to explore the bays we visit.
We also have equipment to crab or fish from our Zodiac-style inflatable.
There is also the remains of the 13 lime kilns that helped pave the streets of Seattle in the late 1800's.
There is a great hike nearby to a viewpoint at the top of Mt. Young where British soldiers once stood watch.
We often spot Orca whales nearby off the west side of San Juan Island and the salmon fishing can be good near here in the Fall.
