Capt Dick Harris and his wife Cathy fished with us April 16 and 17 evenings.
Dick caught three tarpon over 100 pounds and Cathy caught assorted jacks, snappers, grouper and ladyfish.
Kelly, ,his son Kelly and daughters Sara and Emily caught 2 sails, over 30 small dolphin, 2 bonito and 2 big barracuda on the Friday day trip.
I guess all those sardines that have flooded the area have helped draw the spanish along with all the other game fish.
On the wrecks, the almaco jacks have been good, but we have been very disappointed with the grouper and snapper catches.
Swordfish reports have been good whenever the weather allows, but we have been too busy catching tarpon to fish for the swords.
At the close of fishing on Friday we held first place in the team category, family and Amanda was top lady angler.
As the tournament proceeded through the weekend, we fell to be one of the top 15 boats out of 108 boats and 495 anglers.
We alos enjoyed the Nichols position of first place family and Amanda won as Top Lady Angler.
