Mullet have been the goto bait out there as well as live shrimp.
Live shrimp have been attracting smaller reds in the creeks as well as speckled trout.
The inlet is showing some nice Pompano and whiting and are excelllant eating.
Fishing shallow is the way to go.
You would think with water temps in the high eighties the fish would be floating to the surface but this is far from true.
The lower tides seem to work the best if you can position yourself in shallow hole's.
