Black Drum
Juvenile Drum have black vertical stripes on dusky white sides. Adults are deep bronze to dingy black. All sizes have barbells under the lower jaw. Small Drum can be confused with Sheepshead, which are similarly striped, but the Sheepshead has prominent teeth, which the Drum does not.
