Cobia
Cobia are dark and torpedo shaped and, in the water, look so much like sharks that even experienced anglers are sometimes briefly fooled. The skin is also leathery and shark-like, but the flattened head, frontal jaws and absence of teeth are the obvious differences. A dark stripe from the gills to the tail is more vivid in small specimens.
