Spanish Mackerel
The body of an adult is rather deep, with dark back and silvery sides. There are many vivid yellow spots on the side. The body is proportionately deeper than that of a juvenile King mackerel, but if in doubt, the only true identifier is the lateral line, which tapers rather gently from front to back with no severe dip.
