Summer Flounder
Left-eyed. Color is generally olive or brown, but can vary widely according to color of the bottom on which the fish hides. Eye-like spots called ocelli are liberally sprinkled on most specimens, and there are always five or more such spots, contrasted to the Gulf Flounder, which has only three.
